Iâm Sarai CC â a curious human who loves learning, storytelling, and exploring the little ways life feels magical.
Iâm drawn to the intersection of creativity, problem-solving and technology. Iâm always asking questions about how things work and how they could work better.
I care a lot about people, connection, and making everyday experiences feel a little more thoughtful.
Curiosity (and a healthy dose of nerdy energy) fuels me. Iâm a bit of a Swiss Army knife â with a wide range of interests that donât always fit neatly into one box. Whether Iâm tinkering with new tools, planning a D&D session, diving into a creative project, or exploring somewhere new, Iâm happiest when Iâm learning and making.

Travel has been a defining part of my life. Iâm deeply grateful for the opportunities Iâve had to immerse myself in new places, cultures, and perspectives. Each experience has expanded how I see the worldâand how I see myselfâshaping me into a more compassionate and open-minded person.
Being in unfamiliar environments challenges my assumptions, sharpens my empathy, and constantly reminds me of the richness and diversity of human experience. Travel asks you to be present, adaptable, and curious. Itâs an experience that rarely feels finishedâyou return home already imagining the next place, the next lesson, the next moment of wonder.

One of my favorite quotes captures this feeling beautifully:
ââViajar no solo nos permite conocer otras formas de vivir, de pensar, de rezar, de amar. Nos regala la oportunidad de conocernos a nosotros mismos a travĂŠs de la incomodidad, de la sorpresa, del asombro, del descubrimiento.â
â Alan Estrada, Viajar CambiarĂĄ Tu Vida
âTranslation:
âTraveling not only allows us to discover other ways of living, thinking, praying, and loving. It gives us the opportunity to know ourselves through discomfort, surprise, wonder, and discovery.â

Music is a big part of how I stay focused and grounded. Iâm known for playlists that jump from Vicente FernĂĄndez to Sleep Token without hesitationâand that variety helps me stay mentally flexible and engaged.
I often listen to music while organizing tasks, or learning something new. It helps me concentrate, manage stress, and maintain momentum during long work sessions. My taste ranges widelyâLatin, rock, folk, metal, EDM, Japanese rock, etc. âbut Iâm especially drawn to music with strong structure and emotional depth. Live music is also important to me. Attending concerts is one of the ways I recharge outside of work, reset my focus, and come back energized. Itâs a reminder that balance matters, and that sustained performanceâwhether in tech or in lifeâcomes from knowing when to engage deeply and when to step away.
Iâve always loved movies for the way they pull so many elements together to create a single experience. I grew up on movies like The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Pirates of the Caribbean, and I still chase that sense of wonder and immersion in every story I watch.

Favorite Universes:
đ§ââď¸ Middle-earth
đ A galaxy far, far awayâŚ
đ´ââ ď¸ The Caribbean (but cursed)
đ Disney & Ghibli everything
ââAll we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.â
â Gandalf (aka life advice I live by)

Iâm especially drawn to films that reward patience and attention â the quiet melancholy of Amadeus, or the reflective tone of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. I love stories with scale, but Iâm just as moved by small, human moments that linger long after the credits roll. Comedy, sci-fi, fantasy, and historical drama all have a seat at my table because each genre offers a different way of seeing the world. Watching movies taught me to slow down, notice details, and appreciate how timing, mood, and character shape an experience. That awareness naturally carries into how I think, communicate, and work with others.

Before moving into digital work, my creative roots were in fine arts. I spent years immersed in 2D mediaâdrawing, painting, and telling stories by handâand earned my bachelorâs degree in Fine Arts. That experience trained my eye for the finest details, for color, composition, and visual clarity, and it shaped how I approach creative and technical challenges today.

Over time, I brought those skills into a range of unexpected projects: illustrating a short comic for the Tijuana Consulate, creating custom invitations for a Paris Fashion Week designer, and translating visual ideas into clear, intentional outcomes. Working across different formats taught me how to adapt, work within constraints, and pay close attention to detail.

I still draw when I can â sometimes in a sketchbook, sometimes on my iPad. Even as my work has shifted into more technical and structured spaces, the habits I built through art remain: patience, curiosity, and care for how something comes together. That foundation continues to influence how I learn, problem-solve, and communicate.

My fascination with technology started early, thanks to my dadâs enthusiasm for anything new and exciting in the tech world. I remember vividly the day I received my first DVDâEl Dorado by DreamWorksâa shared gift with my brother, and the sense of wonder that came with this new way of experiencing movies. Soon after, our household got its first computer with dial-up internet, and I spent countless hours exploring its possibilitiesâfrom drawing in Microsoft Paint to playing games that sparked my imagination. Those early experiences planted the seeds of curiosity and creativity that still drive me today.

One of the most formative moments came from an after-school program called SĂ se puede, where I learned the fundamentals of computers and even built my very first rudimentary website in HTML. I loved the feeling of creating something from scratch with code, and the sense that a few lines of text could transform into something tangible on the screen felt nothing short of magical. These experiences combined my creativity with technology in a way that felt endlessâlike discovering a new language that could bring ideas to life.
Now, my love for technology spans far and wide.
I dive into new devices, programs, and platforms with curiosity, whether itâs comparing the latest headphones, exploring the differt apps, or tinkering with a website. I see technology as a kind of magic in the real world, a tool that can make almost anything possible if youâre willing to experiment, explore, and create. Itâs this magical potential that keeps me inspired, learning, and always excited for what comes next.
